For every $1 invested in our mission in 2024, $26 was donated to the charitable sector and $16 was granted to our high-impact giving recommendations.

Our mission is funded by generous gifts from individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and in-kind supporters.

Our funding model

There is no cost to join Founders Pledge. We don’t charge membership fees or take a cut of our members’ pledges.

Not charging fees means we can be an objective thought partner. It allows us to remain singularly focused on empowering more people to give to the most effective charities, so that we can make high-impact giving the norm and create a better world.

Our lean and highly skilled team brings diverse expertise from nonprofit and commercial backgrounds to deliver truly unique giving solutions. We support high-impact charities that save lives, enhance educational outcomes, increase earnings, avert emissions, and improve our ability to prevent catastrophic risks.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, in 2024 we:

Helped our members move $238M to the charitable sector, and $143M to our high-impact recommendations
Welcomed 139 new members and celebrated $502M in pledges
Curated and hosted 27 events exploring the most promising solutions to the world’s biggest problems
Advised 130 members and their families on their giving
Facilitated $249M in contributions and $208M in grants
