Chris Morton is the founder and CEO of Lyst.com, one of the world's largest fashion marketplaces used by over 90 million consumers globally. The company works with thousands of leading fashion designers and retailers globally and has raised over $80m from investors including Accel Partners (Facebook, Spotify), Balderton (YOOX, MySQL), DFJ (Skype, Hotmail), and LVMH.
Although born in Oxford, UK, Chris grew up on the East Coast of the US before receiving an MA in Physics and Philosophy from Cambridge University. After early work in the renewable energy sector, Chris became a Venture Capital investor at Benchmark Capital and Balderton Capital in London, focussing on the early-stage consumer internet space.
Chris is a member of the Executive Council of Internet Week New York and has been a speaker at Harvard Business School, Cambridge University, Oxford University, Conde Nast's Digital Day, IHT's Link Jewellery Summit and WWD's Ecommerce Summit among others. Chris has also been a startup mentor at programs including Seedcamp, Launchpad and Launch48.
