I don't see the Founders Pledge as a tick box on my conscience, but rather a vehicle to start making a difference with early on in my life. Usually the focus in any pledge is how much people are giving, where with the Founders Pledge the focus is on causes and what social good you as a pledgor -- and as part of a community of pledgors -- can drive. This new approach to giving back has been very refreshing indeed.
