He has been an early investor in Start-ups such as DeliveryHero & Clio.com.

Jan made his first stock market investment (Electronic Arts) at the age of 16 and has been a Pre-IPO investor in Facebook and Linked-in.

With IONIQ Group (then named HitFox) he won the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year"-Award in Germany.

As CIO of BIT Capital he is responsible for the "Global Internet Leaders" investment funds.
