Gi Fernando is an investor in Yplan, Citymapper, Sleepio & Driftrock. Gi's career began at 21 when he sold his first entrepreneurial project. Since then he has accumulated experience including five years with HSBC implementing ground breaking & innovative technologies for the banking group & later setting up Western Consulting in 2002, a digital CRM service helping smaller businesses punch above their weight. His most notable success came when he co-founded Techlightenment with Ankur Shah in 2007. Under Gi & Ankur's leadership Techlightenment became a global leader in providing products & services in social technology for brands. It was acquired by Experian plc in 2011.
