Bio

Megan joined Founders Pledge in 2022 shortly after finishing her PhD at Caltech, where she focused on solar photovoltaic device physics research. She is passionate about climate impact and mitigating existing and ever-impending climate change on our planet. At Founders Pledge, she works on the Climate Research team, using data to make the biggest climate-based impact.

Prior to her PhD, Megan worked in finance on equities trading. She additionally holds a BS in Physics from Yale.

Megan lives in Miami, where her goal is to maximize time spent taking her son to the beach/ocean.

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Zach Braff - there would never be a dull moment!

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A scientist and a mom. And, depending on the age, a dolphin trainer. So at least I hit 2 of the 3!

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

A romcom with a feisty female lead, played by Gina Rodriguez.
