Matt is the Impact Analytics Lead at Founders Pledge, tasked with understanding and analysing our impact on the world. He joined Founders Pledge in May 2019, coming from a background in risk management in green finance, and various humanitarian roles in Greece. Initially Matt led our grant-making function for over 2 years, before taking an 18 month sabbatical to run a development charity in Northern Thailand that worked with indigenous hilltribes. He has a Masters in Human Rights from University College London, and a BA in International Relations from Exeter University.
Outside of work Matt enjoys rugby, playing progressively weirder string instruments, and languages - especially Greek so his in-laws can understand him!

A palaeontologist, and that’s before I started watching Friends.
