Lara joined Founders Pledge in November 2024 as a Growth Lead-EMEA. After graduating from the University of St Andrews in Management and History of Art, Lara began her career in a high-growth tech start-up focusing on the CSR and sustainability side of the organisation. Since then Lara worked for one of the largest Donor Advised Funds (DAF) in the UK market leading on the growth and business development of the organisation. Outside of work, you will find Lara playing racket sports, (Padel in particular at the moment) traveling and finding the best new eating spots around town!

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Founding father of Turkey….my unprofessional answer would be Taylor Swift.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Forensic Scientist was the key front runner after watching too much CSI Las Vegas however Professional Tennis Player is a hot second until I got injured

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

Some kind of musical comedy, ideally it would be played by someone like Florence Pugh or Carey Mulligan.
