Bio
James Michael Nichols is the Director of Communications at Founder Pledge. He brings extensive experience in strategic communications and marketing, having previously served as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at BRIC Arts & Media in Brooklyn. Prior to that, he was the Director of Communications for Equality North Carolina, where he honed his skills in advocacy and outreach.
James also has a significant background in journalism, notably running HuffPost Queer Voices early in his career.
Residing in Brooklyn with his partner and their dog, Wall-e, he is dedicated to advancing Founders Pledge's mission through effective communication.

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?
I would love to have dinner with Dolly Parton. She's a masterful storyteller through her songwriting and I admire the way she's built her unique career and philanthropic endeavors.
Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Even as a child, I always wanted to be a writer.
Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?
A mind-bending science fiction dramedy staring Hugh Grant.
