WORKING WITH US

Culture & Careers

Founders Pledge is a young, dynamic organisation. We’re a startup, but in the charity sector, and we like to approach our field a little differently. With a shared intellectual curiosity, each of us is excited and passionate about solving problems and seeing what we might achieve.

We aren’t just altruistic nerds, though. Sure, our space comes complete with stimulating conversations and continuous learning, but we also know how to chill out. We throw in a healthy mix of fun with regular team lunches, evening escapades, alfresco adventures, and impromptu intervals for shenanigans and YouTube screenings. We truly believe you should love where you work, so we want to create an awesome space where you end up spending most of your waking hours.

FP is small but global, with team members in Berlin, London and New York. Yet collaboration across departments (and continents) is never a problem. Ensuring the whole team is on the same page is something we strive for, with open communication and recurring team meetings. We won’t let a few measly time zones get in our way!

We eagerly welcome new people, embracing their ideas and input (and the extra laughs!) to help us better work towards our mission. So maybe your next step could be with Founders Pledge. While we often have new positions to meet organisational demands (just take a look below), perhaps you’d be a stellar addition to the team in your own way, offering something we haven’t yet realised we need! If this sounds like you, then reach out for a chat with one of the team at jobs@founderspledge.com

We’re excited to meet you and see what we can achieve together.

Key Relationships Manager - San Francisco

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an exited founder - non-negotiable - to be our Key Relationships Manager in the Bay Area. This would be a full-time role, with the main objectives being two-fold:

  • Get highly credible founders to join the Founders Pledge community
  • Nurture relationships with community members in the Bay Area.

We are looking for someone with a great network and very solid communication skills. The role will involve in-person meetings with founders, VCs, and investors, attending conferences, and throwing dinner parties and speaker series. You’re going to have a lot of fun!

You’ll be the first team member based on the West Coast, but with the full backing and support of FP Global and our office in NYC. To succeed, you’ll need to be creative in your approach for new members, while maintaining regular touchpoints with our current Bay Area community. You’ll engage our network in FP conversations, taking the lead by directly enabling the world’s top entrepreneurs and investors (and their $!) to solve some of the world's most pressing problems.

We would require the successful candidate to sign the pledge themselves and donate through Founders Pledge for full authenticity when they talk about the community to prospective founders. Once you’ve signed the pledge you’ll become a signal for others to help normalise the behaviour of giving back in the tech community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Able to establish personal relationships with clients (think text and casual drinks over business meetings and emails)
  • Clear, social and charismatic communicator, who can build a connection with new people
